Dave Broad is in his third year as an assistant cross country coach at North Georgia College & State University.

Coach Dave Broad was a head coach of Track & Field and Cross Country from 1979 to 1991.  His teams at Buffalo State College, Canisius College and Adams State College won numerous conference championships in Track and Cross Country throughout the 1980s, the 1983 NCAA Div. III Mile Relay Championship and two NAIA National Second Place trophies in Cross Country in 1987 and 1988. 

He coached 6 individual collegiate nationals champions and 22 All-Americans.  He was twice named Rocky Mountain Conference Coach-of-the-Year.  As an athlete, Coach Broad was on the Western New York District second place team in cross country, was a USA Track and Field district champion in 3,000 meters indoors and 50 miles on the road, and was Gold medalist in the Master’s Marathon at the 1987 Empire State Games.
