Lady Saints Down USC Aiken 3-0 in PBC Play

Dahlonega, GA – North Georgia College
& State University used goals from a trio of players to get by
USC Aiken 3-0 Saturday afternoon in Peach Belt Conference action at
the Soccer Complex.
North Georgia (5-3-2, 2-1 PBC) outshot the Lady Pacers (2-9-1, 1-2
PBC) 11-2, and allowed just one shot on goal in the victory.
Freshman Danielle Brannon got the scoring started just over four
minutes into the contest as she sent a cross from Lauren Schenk to
the back of the net for a 1-0 lead.
The Lady Saints would add two more in the second half as Chevy
Vincent and Tessa Macgregor each took passes from Casey Smith to
notch goals and give North Georgia a 3-0 victory.
Jessica English recorded one save in goal for North Georgia to
pick up her third victory of the year, while Nicole Westphal
tallied five saves for USC Aiken, but allowed all three goals.
The Lady Saints return to action Wednesday, October 8, traveling
to Anderson University for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
