Men's Soccer Signs 13 New Faces For 2009 Season
DAHLONEGA, GA – North Georgia College
& State University’s men’s soccer coach Pat Parris
has announced the signing of 10 freshmen and three transfers that
will join the Saints for the 2009 season.
"The 2009 class will posses great qualities on and off the field,
special qualities such as: the ability to lead, listen, and
sacrifice for the greater good of the team, head coach Pat Parris
said of the incoming class." This is excellent being that the
current players understand these concepts and expect these players
coming in to buy into our mentality as a team in order to be
successful for the 2009 season and beyond."
All 10 freshmen make their way to Dahlonega from high schools
around the state of Georgia, while the transfers include Erskine
College, Truett-McConnell College, and Allen Community College.
Last season, the men’s soccer program hosted their
first-ever Peach Belt Conference Tournament game and advanced to
the Final Four of the PBC Tournament for the second straight year.
