Trey Henson is in his second year as a graduate assistant under Tom Cantrell at North Georgia College and State University in 2009-10.  Trey will assist in the everyday operations of the baseball program.  His duties include working with the infielders, field maintenance and camp operations. Trey is also heading up the strength and conditioning program for the baseball team.

A native of Athens, Georgia Henson is a three-sport letter winner in baseball, football, and golf at Clarke Central High School.  While there, he broke the school record for season doubles (14) and career doubles (39).

Trey was part of the 2004 College World Series with the University of Georgia. Henson was also a part of the 2005 NGCSU SSAC Championship team with a 57-15 record.  In 2006, he was a student assistant for the Bulldogs when they went to the World Series.

Henson graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's Degree in Health/Physical Education.  He is attending NGCSU with hopes of attaining a Master's Degree in Health and Physical Education.
